Regarding Telecom Training to Non-BSNL Private Candidates
BSNL has a number of full fledged Labs for imparting training on i) Mobile GSM, CDMA ii) Broad band and IP Network iii) OFC system, SDH/DWDM iv) Active Access Network v)WiFi, WiMax, DSL, EPON/GPON. Short-term courses (for 1 or weeks) and Long-term courses (for 9 to 10 weeks) are being conducted. Regarding updation of Trainings Undergone by a BSNL Staff:

It has come to the notice, that even though an employee has completed a training, that data is not available in the CTMS when it is viewed through 'TRAINING UNDERGONE BY YOU' link in the home page.

Remedy: The CTMS was implemented only from April 2007 onwards. But all the Training Centres have been asked to update the old records from October 2000 onwards. There are practical problems faced by the Training centres as there was no HR Staff Number earlier. Hence if your trainings are NOT updated, you can submit the relevant information using this form.

As for as updation of HR Package, the data transfer from CTMS to HR Package is not yet fully automatic. Hence it may take upto 10 days for transferring the data from CTMS to HR Package.


Working Day Pattern of Training Centres :
All Training Centres are working on 6-days working  pattern and normally batches will be relieved on the afternoon of Friday. (However in case of certain vendor based courses and courses of less than one week, relieving may fall on Saturday also). Second Saturday will normally be Holiday.

 


While proceeding to Training Centres...>

Before proceeding to Training centres, participants are requested to check the following points:

1. Relieving Orders and Identity Cards are to be shown at Trg Centre.

2. Staying in Hostel is normally compusory in Trg Centres having Hostel Facility.

3.Participants can know the status of their nomination by clicking on the link CHECK YOUR NOMINATION STATUS before commencing their journey to training centre

4. It has been noticed that some trainees get ill while they are undergoing training and they are required hospitalization. The details of MRS card are to be furnished to the Hospital. So, the trainees are requested to bring a photocopy of their MRS card alongwith them.

 

Whether an employee can directly do the nomination online?

1. Presently there is no such provision in this Training management software

2. However the employees can click on to http://intranet.bsnl.co.in and then click on TRAINING DESK link and submit their training needs. Corporate office will consider the case. In the TRAINING DESK web page, you are requested to go through a presentation with the name 'modus operandi' which gives further information in this regard.
